Co-Director John Carlo Bertot helped organize the ASIS&T Doctoral Seminar on Research and Career Development. Assistant Professor Katie Shilton is also a co-organizer for the Student Design Competition.

Beth St. Jean's paper "I Just Don't Know What I Don't Know!": A Longitudinal Investigation of the Perceived Usefulness of Information to People with Type 2 Diabetes was accepted for the ASIS&T 2012 Annual Meeting.
