Sheri A. Massey
Dr. Sheri A. Massey received her MLS and her Ph.D. from the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland with an emphasis in school library media programs. Because of her background as a District of Columbia Public Schools teacher and Montgomery County public school librarian, Dr. Massey has devoted a considerable amount of time exploring the history and development of urban school library media programs. Dr. Massey was a research assistant for the Council of the Great City Schools Great Libraries Network before finishing her doctorate. She is now a full-time lecturer teaching school library media courses at the College of Information Studies, With iPAC, Dr. Massey is a part of the School Library Supervisors’ research team.
